Terms and Conditions

These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at https://caligomovers.com, including its pages, forms, chat features, tools, and related online services (collectively, the “Website”).

The Website is owned and operated by CaliGo Movers Inc., doing business as CaliGo Movers (“CaliGo Movers,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into an agreement to use the Website or submit a request for moving services.

By using the Website, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal authority to provide it.

2. Purpose of the Website

The Website provides general information about CaliGo Movers and allows visitors to:

  • request information about moving services;
  • request that the Company contact them;
  • submit preliminary move details;
  • provide inventory information;
  • request an appointment or consultation;
  • communicate with the Company through forms, chat, telephone, text message, or email.

The Website does not itself complete, confirm, or guarantee a moving reservation.

3. Website Requests Are Not Moving Contracts

Submitting a form, inventory list, estimate request, contact request, or other information through the Website does not:

  • create a contract for moving services;
  • confirm the availability of a moving date;
  • guarantee a particular price;
  • reserve a moving crew or vehicle;
  • constitute a written estimate;
  • establish a Not to Exceed price;
  • constitute a bill of lading or moving services agreement;
  • require CaliGo Movers to accept or perform the requested move.

A moving service relationship is created only after the Company and the customer complete and accept the required written documents and any required signatures, deposits, confirmations, or notices.

4. Estimate Requests and Preliminary Pricing

Any prices, rates, ranges, calculators, examples, or preliminary figures displayed or discussed through the Website are provided for general informational purposes only unless expressly identified in a separate written document as an official estimate.

Information submitted through an online form may be used to help us understand the requested services and prepare for further communication or inspection.

An online form submission is not an official written moving estimate or a Not to Exceed price.

Any official estimate, Not to Exceed price, service description, hourly rate, minimum charge, valuation selection, additional service charge, or other binding pricing term will be stated in the applicable written moving documents.

If there is a conflict between the Website and a signed moving document, the signed moving document will control.

5. Inventory Information

Inventory information submitted through the Website is preliminary and is based on the information provided by the customer.

The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding:

  • the items to be moved;
  • item quantity and approximate size;
  • pickup and delivery locations;
  • stairs, elevators, gates, parking, and access restrictions;
  • heavy, oversized, fragile, valuable, or specialty items;
  • packing or unpacking requirements;
  • storage requirements;
  • disassembly and reassembly requirements;
  • any other condition that may affect the move.

Website inventory information may be reviewed, corrected, supplemented, or replaced during an inspection, consultation, or preparation of the official moving documents.

6. Scheduling and Availability

Requested dates and times are subject to availability.

A date entered into a Website form is a requested date only and is not confirmed until CaliGo Movers provides a separate confirmation.

Service availability may depend on staffing, equipment, location, weather, traffic, building access, safety considerations, permit requirements, and other operational conditions.

7. Customer Responsibilities

When using the Website, you agree to:

  • provide truthful, current, and complete information;
  • provide contact information that belongs to you or that you are authorized to use;
  • promptly notify us if submitted information changes;
  • avoid submitting malicious code, false requests, spam, or fraudulent information;
  • avoid attempting to interfere with the operation or security of the Website;
  • comply with applicable laws.

You may not use the Website to impersonate another person, submit unauthorized requests, collect Website data through automated means, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, CRM, servers, accounts, or connected systems.

8. Telephone, Email, and Text Communications

When you provide your telephone number or email address and submit a request, you authorize CaliGo Movers and its representatives to contact you regarding that request through:

  • telephone calls;
  • text messages;
  • email;
  • voicemail;
  • Website chat.

These communications may include questions about your move, scheduling, inspections, service confirmations, document delivery, customer support, and other communications directly related to your request or services.

Message and data rates may apply.

You may request that text messages stop by replying STOP, or by contacting us directly. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe instructions contained in those emails.

Consent to receive promotional or automated marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing moving services. Where legally required, separate consent will be obtained before automated or prerecorded marketing communications are sent.

9. Call Recording and Monitoring

To support customer service, quality assurance, training, fraud prevention, documentation, and dispute resolution, some telephone calls may be monitored or recorded.

Where consent is required, we will provide notice and obtain the required consent before intentionally recording a confidential telephone conversation.

You may decline recording by informing the representative. When reasonably available, we may continue the communication without recording or provide an alternative method of communication, such as email.

Recordings will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. Privacy and Cookies

13. Customer Reviews and Feedback

You may provide honest feedback or reviews concerning your experience with CaliGo Movers.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to prohibit or penalize a customer for providing an honest review, assessment, or statement protected by applicable law.

You may not knowingly publish false information, impersonate another person, disclose confidential information belonging to others, or use reviews to commit fraud, harassment, extortion, or another unlawful act.

Federal consumer law prohibits standardized contract provisions that prevent consumers from posting honest negative reviews or financially penalize them for doing so.

14. Website Availability

We attempt to keep the Website accurate, secure, and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always operate without interruption, delay, error, or security risk.

We may modify, suspend, remove, or discontinue any Website feature at any time.

19. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
